Atfin is a joint venture of two successfully growing companies in the aerospace industry. It uniquely combines respected competences and more than 100 years of experience of both mother companies Aerotech (founded in 1972 in DE) + Amfin (founded in 1947 in GB).

Abbey Metal Finishing Limited (“AMFIN”), a subsidiary of Camellia Plc, is a leading provider special processes for customers in the aerospace industry.

Aerotech Peissenberg GmBH & Co. KG (Aerotech) is a leading machining and special process company for the aerospace industry.

The Joint Venture is a strategic investment of the shareholders of Amfin and Aerotech:

  • Camellia Plc and OHB support this JV to enable a special process for this critical quality process in the external supply chain in Germany. For the first time this critical process will be established to complete ATP’s capabilities to deliver critical rotative parts. Any geometry titanium and nickel alloy parts are etched and etch inspected to customer’s specification in a specialized semi-automated etch line.
  • Shareholder of Amfin is Camellia Plc: It is an international group, listed on the London Stock Exchange and employs over 76,000 people worldwide.
  • Shareholder of ATP is MT Aerospace: It is a diversified aerospace company with growing activities in the aviation industry.

The final customers are leading civil and military turbine manufacturers in Europe.
